Govt striving to increase forex

ISLAMABAD - Finance Minister Senator Ishaq Dar said on Wednesday that government is working on a plan to increase the foreign exchange reserves of the country, which would be increased in the months to come.
The Finance Minister expressed these views during a meeting with Sir Sherard Cowper - Coles, Senior Advisor to the Group Chairman, Group Chief Executive HSBC who called on him here on Wednesday.
Congratulating the Finance Minister on the assumption of his office as well as successful conclusion of an IMF programme, Sir Sherard said that there is now a positive feeling about Pakistan’s economy.
The Finance Minister said that positive signs of the policies and measures taken by the present government have started appearing as international financial institutions and markets are keen to do business with Pakistan.
