ISLAMABAD - The recently appointed National Coordinator of National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA), Hamid Ali Khan, retired from Pakistan Civil Services on Thursday. He was promoted to grade 22 last month and was appointed as Secretary Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD).

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had appointed Hamid Ali Khan as National Coordinator NACTA during his recent visit of China last Saturday. He has taken charge of his new assignment last Monday.

Though Khan has started working actively, sources in the Ministry of Interior said, “Khan was misfit for the post since he did not have the experience related to issues of terrorism.”

Meanwhile, the government accepted the resignation of Secretary Law Barrister Zafar Ullah Khan.

He submitted resignation from this post after announcement of his appointment of Special Assistant to PM.

The government has given the additional charge of Secretary CAAD to Secretary Cabinet Babar Fateh Yaqoob.

The post of Secretary CADD was vacant after appointment of Hamid Ali Khan as National Coordinator of NACTA.
