ATTOCK - Police have booked 36 anti-social elements under different acts and have been sent behind the bars. In the first incident, Jand police booked 29 persons for violating The Punjab Regulation and Control of Loud Speakers and Sound Amplifiers Ordinance. They had arranged a musical evening on the eve of a marriage ceremony of Zeeshan in Mohala Mauj Darya Jand. Those arrested include Ali Hassan, Ahmad Ishtiaq, Riaz, Adeel, Nabeel, Nasir, Aamir, Tayyab, Aziz, Arsalan, Shahbaz, Yousaf, Shahzeb, Bilal, Shahzad, Khayam, Sajad, Mehboob, Farid, Umair, Jahangir, Idrees and Kiran, Fiza, Faiza, Zebi (all transgender persons) have been arrested while Zeeshan (bridegroom), Zain and Haris escaped from the scene. In another incident, Fatehjang police arrested seven gamblers including Shehroz, Usman, Shahzad, Hashir, Amaar, Waheed and Farhat Abbas and recovered cash and valuables worth Rs404,660.
