ISLAMABAD - Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has extended the last date for filing income tax returns for the tax year 2010 till October 30 from earlier announced date of 15th of the current month. According to the press statement issued by FBR on Wednesday, Pakistan Tax Bar Association has requested for the extension of date of filling income tax reruns for the tax year 2010 on the grounds that taxpayers are facing problems due to the unprecedented floods in the country. The floods had an adverse impact on the economic condition of the business community in general and taxpayers in particular. Therefore, the board has extended the due date till October 30, the press statement announced.
