ISLAMABAD (APP) - The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Thursday dismissed the bail pleas of three suspects accused of attacking military installations including the General Headquarters (GHQ) and the Hamza camp. The three men, Abdul Basit, Abdul Majid and Abdul Sabur were currently facing court martial for attacking GHQ and the Hamza Camp after their acquittal by an anti-terrorism court last year. The court in its judgment stated that according to the judgment of the Supreme Court, it cannot be said that detention of these three suspects is illegal and ther not be issued. The contention of petitioner was that the detainees are not subject to the Army Act, therefore the detention is illegal. However, same prayer has already been dealt by the Supreme Court, since SC judgment in field, this court can not grant, release as well, it added.
