This is with reference to the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s announcement of establishing a Trust worth RS 200 million, for the Peshawar Church bomb blast victims. I think that considering our available sources and relying on today’s economic conditions of Pakistan, this kind of solidarity is a good step towards the Christian community to make them realize that the Nation is always with them. Though the Trust or re-establishment of church nevertheless, is not the only solutions to compensate their tragedy, but at least one must sense the sympathies of all Muslims for their Christian brothers and sisters. I also would request media outlets to ignore such bellicose speakers on various talk shows who create fuss regarding minority’s issues, which ultimately reflect negatively on our country.
