Five people were killed and three left injured in a suicide attack at the election office of MNA Amjad Farooq in Dera Gazi Khan, Waqt News reported. The MNA belongs to the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N). The MNA was not present in the office at time of attack,” media reported.

According to the Waqt News reporter rescue teams have been sent to the site.

“Initially there was no perceived threat to the MNA but the area has deep religious influence, with banned religious organizations operational there,” the reporter told the channel.
