GUJRANWALA: The Anti-Terrorism Court Gujranwala on Tuesday declared MQM chief as proclaimed offender for making anti-state speeches.

The court also ordered the police to arrest and produce the accused in the court on October 20. Honourable ATC judge Imtiaz Ahmed issued the orders during hearing of identical cases registered against the MQM chief on charges of making anti-state statements and inciting people against state institutions. The cases were registered on the applications of Zaheer Abbas and Khalid Pervaiz at separate police stations of Mandi Bahauddin district.

WOMAN GUNNED DOWN: A man gunned down his sister over a domestic issue here on Tuesday. The incident occurred in the Aroop area of Gujranwala where Shakeela, 28, mother of three children, was gunned down by her brother. –Staff Reporter

Bholla entered her house and opened fire, killing her on the spot. It has been learnt that Shakeela had some domestic disputes with her husband and her brother found her at fault. The New Civil Lines police have registered a case.
