MUZAFFARABAD: Cross-Line of Control (LoC) trade on Srinagar-Muzaffarabad route resumed today after remaining suspended for weeks.

"The trade between the two sides of Kashmir on Srinagar-Muzaffarabad road resumed Wednesday following authorities of Azad Kashmir lifted ban for illegal items," officials said.

25 trucks carrying goods from Indian occupied Kashmir crossed Chakoti-Orri peace bridge and entered into Azad Kashmir while 7 trucks from this side of Kashmir entered into Indian occupied Kashmir.

Azad Kashmir authorities suspended the cross-LoC trade after complains of trade of illegal items which were not included in trade items list agreed by both sides.
