Gangs of bandits took away 14 motorcycles, 11 cellphones, two wrist watch, gold ornaments and other valuables worth millions of rupees in 27 strikes in and around the city over the past 48 hours.
Two armed men snatched gold ornaments and Rs4,000 from Robeena in the limits of Saddr Police. Dacoits looted Rs31,000 and two cellphones from Ghulam Nabi in the limits of Kamoke City Police. Robbers intercepted Nasir and his wife and snatched Rs24,000 and gold ornaments in Kot Ladha - Hafizabad Road. Bandits looted Rs29,000 and cellphone from Shahid in the limits of Ferozepur Police. In Aroop area, Naveed was deprived of Rs14,000 and wrist watch by dacoits. In Saddr Kamoki Police area, dacoits snatched Rs21,000 and two cellphones from Imran. Two dacoits looted Rs15,000 and cellphone from Zahid near Kot Annayat. In Wando village, bandits deprived Rana Wajid of Rs35,000 and two cellphones. Similarly, dacoits snatched Rs14,000 and a wrist watch from at Abdul Naveed. In Aroop, dacoits snatched Rs13,000, cellphone from Moazam and Mubeen,
In the limits of Civil Lines Police, dacoits looted Rs10,000 and brand new motorcycle from Tabbassam. In Cantt Area, three dacoits entered the shop of Hamid and took away Rs13,000 and valuable at gunpoint. At Sohdra Morr, two armed men snatched brand new motorcycle from Rizwan. Similarly, an applied form motorcycle of Nazir, Hamid Nasir, Bilal, Saleem, Rauf, Mushtaq, Rafiq, Shoaib, Ghulam Abbas, Abdul Rauf, Nasrullah and Ayyaz were snatched and stolen from different areas of the city.
