Murder convict Muhammad Akram was sent to the gallows in Sialkot district jail on Tuesday. The convict had killed a local Muhammad Riaz over a minor dispute in village Kammaanwala-Sialkot, in 2000. Meanwhile, execution of another convict Shahid Nadeem was postponed in the district jail after a patch up with the family of the deceased in Kotli Loharaan.–Staff reporter
