Leaders from various political parties, including the ones who are contesting the by-election 2018, reached polling stations in their respective constituencies to cast their ballots.
The leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N, Khawaja Saad Rafique, cast his ballot in Lahore’s NA-131, also the constituency where he is contesting the by-election from against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s Humayun Akhtar.
Pak Sarzameen Party Chairman Mustafa Kamal cast his vote in NA-243, at polling station 74 in Gulshan-e-Iqbal.
Muttahida Qaumi Movement leader Amir Chishti, who is also contesting the polls, cast his ballot in polling station 111 of NA-243.
Moreover, Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid leader Moonis Elahi voted in NA-69 at a government school in Staragarh, Gujrat. His father, Chaudhry Pervez, who is also the speaker of Punjab Assembly, left for Chakwal after casting his ballot.
PTI leader Mansoor Khan voted in NA-63, while Ali Nawaz Khan from the same party cast his ballot in NA-53.
National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser cast his ballot at a government school in Marghuz, Swabi in PK-44.
On the other hand, Prime Minister Imran Khan is registered to vote in NA-53 (Islamabad) where his name is on the list in Mohra Noor school, Bani Gala.
