Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammed Chaudhry has said substantial steps have been taken to uproot corruption from the judicial system. "Unfortunately corruption in lower judiciary not to be controlled so far," Chief Justice of Pakistan addressing the full court reference at the opening of the new judicial year Tuesday said. The lawyers and general public should point out the corrupt elements in judicial system, he said. Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry said that no one can blame the judges of the superior judiciary.
