IHC orders release of people booked under section 144

ISLAMABAD- Islamabad High Court (IHC) Chief Justice Anwar Kasi has ordered release of people, arrested on the charges of violating pillion riding ban and section 144.
Nearly 650 included workers of protesting Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) were detained for violating section 144 and pillion riding ban over the past three days.
Meanwhile, IG Islamabad Tahir Alam has said several people, whose release order has been issued by the court, were involved in PTV and the Parliament attack and they were booked under section 7 ATA. Police were arresting them over these charges, he added.
The police chief further said they would appeal district magistrate for captivity of these people for a month under Maintenance of Public Order.
