ISLAMABAD - The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Balochistan recovered Rs 94.122 million from April 2014 to June 2014, a newsletter issued from the regional bureau revealed on Saturday.
According to the official documents, during the last quarter (April to June 2014) the NAB Balochistan arrested 14 persons who were involved in different corruption cases. The regional bureau filed five corruption references in the Accountability Court Balochistan.
During the past quarter, the NAB Balochistan received 268 complaints, out of these 88 complaints were processed and converted into complaints verification (CVs), 47 complaints were linked with the cases already under investigation and 14 complaints were referred to the relevant departments.
The bureau authorised 35 fresh inquiries during the past quarter and converted 13 inquiries into investigations. Out of these 13 investigations, the regional bureau converted three investigations into references while other cases are under investigation.
