We Pakistanis always keep our cultural habitat intact while celebrating an event. Our all functions are organized in a way that they automatically complement our cultural diversity. We can proudly say that our way of celebrating societal events is unique in its own self. Like other events, our wedding ceremonies are luxurious and filled with a range of bright shimmering colours. Women dress up their best in heavily embroidered, gotta, tilla and other embellishments, while men prefer wearing kurtaz, pajamas and suits depending upon the theme of the evening. Especially on mehndis and dholaks our self-asserted dynasty is quite evident through our rituals and clothes.

Pakistani fashion weeks are playing a pivotal role in highlighting latest bridal fashion trends. They have increased the awareness among the masses and now people are more vigilant and wise in making choices for the big day, Barat. It is due to the fact that maximum importance is given to bride’s lehanga which she wears on her big day. Mostly, the brides and their families are very choosy and picky, and some of them have spent years in planning out their wedding outfits. To satisfy such a researched woman is a tough task for designers. Here comes the technique and creativity of the designers who use multiple tactics to convince their clients. However, majority of the brides are indecisive and visit tens of shops to make the best possible choice. So for those brides, better understand the latest fashion trends the market offers before making any selection.  

Adding confusion towards making a wise choice, dresses keep coming and styles keep changing, but the red color is always “in” for dresses. Wedding dresses can be of various types depending on the mode and the choice of bridal sari, bridal lehnga, bridal sharara dress, gowns etc.

Many other Pakistani fashion designers have taken the inspiration from the mysterious roots of Persian culture, and no wonder, the fashion designers have exposed the highly luxury designs of Persian era with creative imagination. Beside the Persian romance, Queen's Jewel is very flattering part of the Best Bridal Suits, in which designers have exposed the regal and royal designs, richly embroidered and jewellery with gem stones like emerald, sapphire, pearls on soft hues. They have presented queen jewels dresses on traditional farshi shararas, long jacket tops, and Victorian drapes ensemble.

Modern times have observed a shift in brides’ choice, they want to wear dull colors and experiment with sleeveless shirts and gowns. Bridal dresses have undergone a lot of changes over the years. You can see that the dupatta is a bit different, the cut of the shirt is also different and instead of ghararas many women are wearing long shirts with wide flares.
