KARACHI: Total liquid foreign reserves of the country stood at 16.07 billion dollars on September 7, said the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Thursday.

According to the SBP's weekly statement issued here, the foreign reserves held by the State Bank on September 7 amounted to 9,624.4 million. The net foreign reserves held by the commercial banks were dollars 6,445.5 million. During the week ending September 7, SBP's reserves decreased by 261 million to 9,624

million, due to external debt servicing and other official payments.–APP
