The most disturbing of the day's news relate to the whipping of a 17-year old girl in broad daylight in Swat. In this context, the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry Friday took a suo moto notice. Justice Chaudhry ordered the matter to be presented before a larger bench on April 6. He also summoned Secretary Interior, IG and Chief Secretary on April 6.
