LAHORE - Clocks were advanced by an hour at mid-night of Tuesday-Wednesday all over the country for the maximum utilisation of the daylight and conserve energy. This has been done after the decision of the Federal Cabinet. Due to power crisis, the govt has decided to use Daylight Saving Times (DST) for saving energy during the peak summer season. Last year too, the Pakistan Standard Time was advanced by an hour during summer. According to the DST, the sunrise in Islamabad will be at 6:37 am instead of 5:35 am and sunset at 7:30 pm instead of 6:30 pm. In Lahore, the sunset will be at 1933 hours today and the Sunrise at 0632 hours tomorrow (Thursday).
