HYDERABAD (APP) The District Government Hyderabad has finalised all arrangements to organise T20 matches between the teams of Pakistan-A, Pakistan Under-19 and Hyderabad Region on April 16 here at Niaz Stadium. According to schedule, the first T20 match will be played between Pakistan u-19 and Hyderabad Region and the winner of the match will later play against Pakistan-A. In connection with the arrangements, the Administrator/District Coordination Officer Hyderabad Aftab Ahmed Khatri chaired a meeting at his office which was attended among others by manager security PCB Wasim Ahmed Shaikh, DIG Police Operation Hyderabad Range Captain (retd) Tahir Naveed, DPO Hyderabad Javed Alam Odho, EDO Revenue Syed Barkat Rizvi, President Regional Cricket Association Hyderabad Mir Haider Talpur and Coordinator Niaz Stadium Yar Muhammad Solangi. The administrator Hyderabad said that by organising T20 matches in successful manner, the district management desired to send a clear message to International Cricket Council (ICC) that Hyderabad city is suitable place for organising international level cricket at its historic Niaz Stadium. The district government is organising T20 matches with objective to promote sports in the district and highlight the best cricketing venue at the world globe, he said. The DIG Police Operations Hyderabad Range Captain (retd) Tahir Naveed said that foolproof security arrangements have been made to organise the event in successful and peaceful manner. During the matches, the situation of Niaz Stadium would be monitored from a control room in order to avert any untoward incident, he added.
