LAHORE Bin Qutab Group Pakistan has joined hands with Al Nabtoor Group Dubai to raise $1.2 million charity hospital with 200 bed capacity in Mona, which is in Potohar region of Pakistan and for the purpose the two organisations are holding a number of exhibition polo matches to raise funds. As part of the plan, the first exhibition polo match of the Al-Habtoor Polo Challenge Cup was played at Dubai Polo and Equestrian Club between Bin Qutab Pakistan and Al Habtoor UAE, with win for Al-Habttor group. Sheikh Rashid Al Habtoor, Javed Malik Ambassador at Large Pakistan, Lt. General (R) Abdul Qayyum, Chairman Bin Qutab Foundation, M. Bashir Malik, Founder and Vice Chairman, attended the event along with the Dubai business elite. There are going to be more matches of this sort all over the world. The match was aimed at promoting awareness of health and medical care for the under privileged project support by Bin Qutab Foundation. Al Habtoor Group has been actively supporting Red Cross International for many years and have raised/donated millions in charity for educational and healthcare projects worldwide, said an official. He informed that several dignitaries from Pakistan and UAE were present on the occasion. Some of them are Khalif Al Habtoor, Chairman Al Habtoor Group, Rashid Al Habtoor, CEO Al Habtoor Trading Enterprises, Mohammed Al Habtoor, CEO Al Habtoor Construction Company, Bashir Malik, Chairman Bin Qutab Group, General Abdul Qayyum (Chairman).
