LAHORE Holders Lahore Whites will take on Rawalpindis Askari Green in the final of 12th National Seniors Cricket Cup (North Zone) 2010 at LCCA Cricket ground, behind Gaddafi Stadium on Thursday, April 15. Khawaja Nadeem Ahmed, newly-elected President of the Lahore City Cricket Association (LCCA) will act as chief guest. Whites have the honor of winning North Zone in 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2009. Pakistan Veterans Cricket Association (PVCA)s Chief Executive Ashiq Hussain Qureshi announced attractive prize money for top two teams of North Zone final and grand final of 12th National Senior Cup Tournament. The winner and runner-up of North Zone will occupy Rs. 1, 50, 000 and 75,000 respectively. In addition, there will be individual prizes for Most Valuable player (MVP), best batsman, bowler, wicket keeper and fielder in North Zone.
