LAHORE (PPI) - Chefs Institute of Pakistan (CIP) will organize first convocation of professional chefs on April 15 (today) at 3 pm at Punjabi Complex Gaddafi Stadium. Minister for Industries Punjab Ch Abdul Ghafoor will attend the function as chief guest. In this function some 100 students would be awarded certificates on the completion of their professional chefs training. CIP Principal Dr Maqsood Ahmed Yazdani said that renowned personalities from hotel, catering and kitchen industry would attend the event. He said all passing out students got professional chefs training certificates from Trade Testing Board Punjab and they were highly trained in Pakistani, Chinese, Thai, and Italian cuisine and they would serve in Pakistan and abroad after completion of their training. He said during the six months classes all students got training in cooking, food presentation, food preservation and food related diseases. The students also worked in renowned hotels and restaurants during their training, Dr Maqsood Yazdani added.
