Senators while denouncing killing of seventy-five people in bombing in Tirrah valley of FATA demanded from the government to compensate the kin of the deceased people and to implement reforms by concluding military operation in FATA. Responding to a point of order during the proceeding of the senate here Thursday, Engineer Rasheed Ahmed said that Seventy-Five persons have reported to die in bombing in Tirrah-valley of FATA and the announced relief package of Rs. 10 million from Governor NWFP as insufficient. Senator Prof. Khurshid Ahmed of JI also termed the aerial bombing on the innocent people of Tirrah Valley as regrettable and demanded to hold judicial inquiry over the issue and urged on media to play its role over the killing of people. PML-N's senator Ishaq Dar suggested to allocate Rs. 40 million for the 75 persons, who had died in bombing in Tirrah Valley, while JUI-F's senator Maulana Ghafoor Haideri said that military action was being carried out in different areas of Balochistan that should be concluded and reservations of the people of Hazara should also be addressed. ANP's senior leader Afrasiab Khattak while speaking in the House said that people of FATA were being treated highhandedly and IDPs of FATA should be rehabilitated in their native areas within two months. Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik addressing to the house reiterated that concerns as voiced by the senators would be addressed and in the next meeting of the house he will brief the house regarding status of FATA operation.
