Federal Information and Broadcasting Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira has made it clear that the report of United Nations Commission, looking into the murder of late Former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, would be unveiled before the masses and responsible would also be taken to task. "The Government would ensure implementation on United Nations Commission report in letter and spirit", he said this while talking to media men outside the Parliament house on Thursday. We have carried out investigation from United Nations therefore those involved in the assassination of late Former Chairperson Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Benazir Bhutto could be brought to justice, he said. Answering to a question, he hoped that the passage of 18th amendment by the Parliament would purge the constitution of all the anti-democratic articles introduced into it by dictators and would restore to the Parliament the powers that really belong to it in a democracy. A 19th constitutional amendment can be considered to resolve the issue of the renaming of the NWFP and creation of new Provinces, he said. He went on to say there are differences among Political Parties on many issues but they have complete consensus on 18th amendment. The renaming of NWFP should not be linked with 18th amendment, he said. Replying to another query, the Federal Information Minister said, we can create another Province on demand of some people. The people of Hazara have been demanding to change name of NWFP but they should also tell us what it would be. The people of Hazara are not against constitutional amendment, he clarified. : The government will give due recognition to the desires of the people of Hazara Division, he added. Creation of more Provinces can not be ruled out but we would have to fulfill constitutional obligations in this respect, he added.
