LAHORE-President PPP Punjab Imtiaz Safdar Warraich has offered his resignation in case he failed to get workers grievances redressed. While speaking at the partys General Council here on Thursday, Warraich also offered to arrange workers meetings with partys Co-Chairman in the coming month. 'I am with you (workers), and will step down if I failed in getting your problems resolved, he offered, while asserting that the PPP and the PML-N could not be compared. 'PPP leadership offered sacrifice of lives for democracy, while the N-League leadership went into exile for saving lives, he opined. Opposition Leader Raja Riaz, while criticising the Punjab govt, especially the CM for the latters alleged bad governance, observed the province was in dire financial straits because of fiscal mismanagement by the CM.
