Destruction through help

It seems as if everyone is following the route ‘Red Riding Hood’. Like her, most of us pick the easy route, but what we forget is that there is no easy route to success but hard work. Who would take the long difficult route when an easy way out lies in front of you? Our students have stopped believing in hard work now they believe in cheating their way out.
The easy route is cheating in exams which the students of today find irresistible, especially when our own society promotes it. It has been seen that the invigilators, especially those in the board examinations, are involved in the process so that they can get some easy cash. Students bring their books and other materials freely to the examination hall, not only this, but it has also been witnessed that the invigilators themselves, in many cases, arrange the material for students.
It may seem harmless today, but the loss that such students face in the future is immeasurable. Their facilitators, parents, examiners whoever they may be, they might think that they are helping the students, but in reality they are destroying the innate process of development and learning in those children. How can we talk of a better future or a better tomorrow when we start our today with cheating? What do parents expect from children, who they knowingly allow to cheat?
