FAISALABAD-School of Rehabilitation Sciences, The University of Faisalabad (TUF) organised first-ever ‘Physiocon 2014’ conference on research output in physical therapy here on Monday.
The mega event included six practical training workshops, poster competitions and 23 research projects. All research projects were conducted by Physical Therapy students of TUF. Distinguished delegates appreciated the professional approach of the young researchers to present research output in Physical Therapy. This event has paved the way for the young graduates to put their efforts in research as TUF is committed to empowering the youth for a prosperous Pakistan.
This mega event was attended by all major Physical Therapy institutes of the country including College of Physical Therapy Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre Karachi, Agha Khan University Hospital Karachi, Multan College of Physical Therapy, King Edward Medical University Lahore, University of Health Sciences Lahore, Lahore Medical & Dental College Lahore, Shifa International Hospital Islamabad, Khyber Medical College Peshawar, Isra University Karachi, Hyderabad & Islamabad campuses and others. Dr Mohammad Iqbal Tahir, Pro-Rector TUF was the chief guest on the occasion while Mr Salabat Khan, President Pakistan Physical Therapy Society was the guest of honour
