Need for ceasefire

There is an immediate need for a ceasefire in Yemen and Pakistan has invited United Nations to intervene so as to end hostilities. The conflict in Yemen has still not reached a point of no return and if all sides agree to talks some solution may yet be found. Yemenis need immediate humanitarian assistance and aid will only get through once there is cessation of hostilities. The people of Yemen are suffering needlessly and we must help them in their hour of need.
Pakistan, Iran, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and other countries are cognizant of the plight of Yemen and want to help end this conflict as soon as possible. Ceasefire alone will not do, negotiations must also be initiated so as to settle the issue to the satisfaction of all parties.
