LAHORE - City police yesterday raided an alcohol-producing plant and seized at least 254 bottles of liquor, dozens of containers filled with chemicals, and sealing machines.
The police also arrested the factory owner identified as Saif Ali after filing a case. The investigators also recovered packaging material from the unit.
A police spokesman yesterday said that a police team headed by SHO Factory Area police station raided a liquor factory located in Mayo Colony. The raid was carried out on a tip-off early yesterday.
The factory was sealed by the authorities following the police raid. The police registered a case against the factory owner and are investigating.
