ISLAMABAD - The Finance Committee of the National Assembly Thursday approved a budget of Rs3,468 million for National Assembly Secretariat for next fiscal year (2016-17).
The Committee was informed that there was no variation between the revised estimates and sanctioned budget for the year 2015-2016.
The Committee approved the upgradation of the Telephone Attendants and continuation of temporary posts in the National Assembly Secretariat. The Committee also approved the minutes of the previous meeting held on March 24, 2016.
The committee appreciated the prudent leadership of the Speaker for initiating austerity measures in the National Assembly Secretariat.
