BRATISLAVA:- Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico was hospitalised on Thursday, his spokeswoman said, after what local media said may have been a heart attack. “I can confirm that the prime minister has been hospitalised to undergo cardiological scans,” spokeswoman Beatrice Szaboova said, adding that Fico was forced to cancel his planned Thursday visit to Prague. Slovak media said the 51-year-old, who won a third term as premier in March campaigning on a strident anti-refugee platform, had driven himself to hospital on Thursday morning and might stay overnight.–AFP
