Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif Sunday sought a detailed report from the police chief over firing incident outside the residence of Supreme Court Judge Justice Ejaz-ul-Ahsan in Lahore.

The chief minister directed police to arrest the persons involved in firing and bring them to book.

At least two firing incidents were reported outside the residence of Justice Ejaz-ul Ahsan Sunday morning.

Justice Ahsan often spends the weekend in Lahore, his hometown, where he, along with the chief justice, presides over several cases related to public welfare issues and other matters at the Lahore registry.
