ISLAMABAD- The trade activities in Rawalpindi and Islamabad had to suffer a loss of Rs 3 billion due to blockage of routes in the backdrop of ‘Azadi March’.
7000 containers had been placed to hinder protests. The international trade has also been affected adversely due to suspension of connection between the four provinces. Commerce Minister Khurram Dastgir estimated a year’s time for the recovery of national economy.
