Lt Gen (Retd) Hameed Gul has said he will go to the UN to plead his case if the government does not assist him in clearing India's recent allegations against him. What a sad come down for a man who has been talking of upholding Pakistan's sovereignty, honour and Islamic Identity. His statement in the press show panic and fear which is unbecoming of a military man. Most damaging of all, they show a lack of faith in God. Does he not know that the UN works under the influence of the Western powers whom he blames for all the false accusations against him? It is best that he withdraws from the intentions of taking his case to the UN.
