ISLAMABAD (APP) - Islamabad Development Working Party (IDWP) has approved two projects for further upgradation of security arrangements in Capital, the source said here Monday. The total allocation of these projects is around 41 million which would improve the existing security arrangements. The source said that these projects were approved after the consideration of officials from Islamabad Capital Territory, Capital police, Ministry of Interior, Planning and Development Division and Capital Development Authority. The formal approval was given last month, he added. The first project relates to upgradation of security arrangements at Pak Secretariat Buildings, Sector F-5 Islamabad which is estimated to be completed at a cost of Rs 15.538 million. Another project relates to up-lifting/renovation of the office of Inspector General of Police Islamabad, F-7/1, office of Special Branch,Sitara Market, C.I.D ,Bhara Kahu and police barracks (8 to 11) at Police Lines H-11, Islamabad with an estimated cost of Rs 25.231 million. The projects aim at ensuring security for the federal capital.
