LAHORE - Garrison Red outplayed Garrison Green by eight wickets in a friendly fixture played to honour the Asiad gold medal winning Pakistan women cricket team here at the Garrison Academy ground. Pakistan women team captain Sana Mir, Marina Iqbal and Javeria were national team players who witnessed the match. Batting first, Garrison Green scored 139 for the loss of five wickets. Zaiba played a superb innings of 51 runs while Razia (18) and Arosha (14) also played well. From Garrison Red, Ayesha Qazi and Sabahat Rasheed grabbed two wickets each. In reply, Garrison Red achieved the target after losing two wickets. Razia Sadiq (43), Ayesha Qazi (36) and Sabahat contributed 20 runs in the allotted quota of overs.
