ISLAMABAD - Japan has delivered emergency relief goods to National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) for humanitarian assistance in Naseerabad and Jaffarabad, the two flood-affected districts of Balochistan.
A press release on Friday said that the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) delivered 3,150 tents, 13,000 blankets and 3,652 plastic sheets, worth $ 437,000 to the NDMA for the two districts. These districts were severely flooded this and last year. JICA expressed sympathies with the Government of Pakistan for the suffering of the flood-affected people.
The Government of Japan has provided emergency grant aid of $ 4.7 MMillion in addition to the relief goods for Balochistan.
