LAHORE - Lahore Garrison Education System (LGES) acknowledged it’s high achievers in a ceremony held at Army Public School and College for Girls (Azam Garrison) on Friday.

LGES Chairman Major General Liaqat Ali was the chief guest. He praised the efforts of the students and congratulated them on the laurels they had won in secondary school, higher secondary and O&A level examinations. Over two hundred and fifty students were awarded medals and certificates of merit not only in academics but also in co-curricular activities.

LGES has also announced scholarships for thirty students on securing 500 or above in the SSC I examination. Among this group were the young and shining scholars of grades III, V and VIII who also went through a rigorous process to earn LGES scholarship.

Roll of honour students of the year 2011 were also awarded with the special gifts on behalf of Patron, Commander Lahore Corps, Lieutenant General Rashad Mahmood.
