ZHENGZHOU: Prime Minister of China Li Keqiang has said that Lahore Orange Line Train is a gift of the Chinese government and people to Pakistan.
He said China would continue to extend its full cooperation to Pakistan in transport as well as all sectors of progress and development. The Chinese Prime Minister was talking to Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif in a ceremony at Chinese city Zhengzhou.
Shahbaz Sharif apprised the Chinese Prime Minister of the details of Lahore Orange Line Metro Train project, with the help of maps and pictures and the pace of work on the project.
Shahbaz Sharif informed that work on the project is in progress expeditiously and will be completed within two years. He said that special attention is being paid to both the speed and standard of
work.
The Chief Minister said that people of Pakistan are grateful to the Chinese government and people for their historic cooperation and Pakistani government is utilizing every penny of Chinese investment as
a sacred trust.
Punjab Chief Minister further said that Lahore Orange Line Train is the beginning of a new phase of travelling experience in a modern, comfortable and secure manner and the people of Pakistan consider
Lahore Orange Line Metro Train as a living symbol of everlasting Pakistan-China friendship.
