Islamabad - Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif yesterday approved renaming of 122 colleges and schools of the federal capital after the names of martyrs of Peshawar Army Public School (APS).

The Prime Minister said that the initiative was aimed at making the memory of these children to last long and outlives the tragic incident that ended their lives by forces of hate and ignorance.

“The intolerant don’t want our children to learn, but we will not give in. These children have sowed the seeds of enlightenment. Our enemies fight with hate and extremism and we must fight back by promoting tolerance, enlightenment and education in our homeland. Existence of our home land and memories of our martyrs are inseparable,” he said, according to PM House press release.
