Repolling to eight DG Khan UCs on Thursday

Re-polling in the 8 union councils and one ward of Municipal Committee Kot Chutta shall be held on upcoming Thursday.
As per sources, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has scheduled the re-polling in polling stations of Bhakar, Faisalabad, Gujrat, Lahore, Kasur, Nankana Sahib, Okara, Vehari, Bahawalnagar, Chiniot, Sheikhupura, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Sahiwal, Khanewal, Attock, Sialkot, Multan, RY Khan, Okara, Narowal and Dera Ghazi Khan. Elections in these areas were postponed due to misprinting of ballot papers and many other reasons like snatching of election material.
In Dera Ghazi Khan, re-polling due to snatching of election material shall be held in 7 union councils of District Council namely UC 1 Kotani, polling station 4 Govt Girls High School Mithey Wali, UC 4 Kalu Wala Polling Station 6 Govt. Boys Primary School Basti Moga, UC 7 Babbi’s Polling Station 1 Govt Girls Middle School Babbi, UC 21 Jhoke Bodo’s Polling Station 3 Basic Health Unit Jhoke Bodo Part-II and Polling Station 4 Govt Primary School Boys Thata Leghari, UC 22 Litra’s Polling Station 5 Govt Middle School Boys Chatri and Polling Station 6 Govt Primary School Boys Basti Lalani.
Elections will be held in Polling Station 4 Govt. Boys Primary School Zubairabad and Polling Station 1 Govt Girls High School Barthi Shumali. Re-polling due to misprinting of ballot papers shall be held in Polling Station 5 Govt. Girls Primary School Doday Wala of UC 60 Aali Wala.
In Municipal Committee Kot Chutta, polling was postponed due to law and order problem while re-polling shall be held in Ward 8 Govt Boys Higher Secondary School (Middle Portion) Kot Chutta.
In 8 union councils of district councils, there are 16,813 registered voters including 7,707 female voters, similarly in Ward 8 of MC Kot Chutta there are 1,602 registered voters including 760 female voters.
Poor administration and mismanagement even illegal support was given to the ruling party candidates by District Election Commissioner DG Khan and District administration, some losers alleged.
