ISLAMABAD - The Central Selection Board yesterday approved promotions of more than 100 officers of Pakistan Administrative Service and Secretariat group to garde 20 and 21, The Nation learnt reliably.

The CSB meeting started on Tuesday after a gap of 19 months. It will review around 400 cases in three days.

The Central Selection Board meeting yesterday approved promotions of officers of Pakistan administrative service including Imran Ahmad, Naved Kamran, Rizwan Malik, Tashfeen Khan, Zadar Hassan, Ali Raza, Muhammad Ali Shahzada, Saeed Ahmed Nawaz, Shahzad Khan, Sheer Afgan, Hamid Khan, Saeed Ahmed Nawaz, Salah Farooq and Dawood to the next grade.

Similarly, the board also recommended the promotions of secretariat group to grade 21 including Waqar Kathrian, Nadeem Iqbal, Waqar Ahmed, Hussain Mirza and Shafeeq Malik.

The CSB reviewed cases of 100 officers of grade 19 of PAS and approved their names for promotion to grade 20 including Mujtaba Paracha, Asim Iqbal, Muhammad Hassan, Sara Saeed, Iftikhar Ali Saho, Shahryar Sultan, Abdul Wahab Somro, Bilal Butt, Dr Farrukh Masood, Shahid Zaman, Wajih Ullah Kundi, Saara Aslam, Akram Ali, Shahid Zaman, Nadeem Ur Rehman, Khalid Saleem, Shahab Ali, Naseem Khan, Kamran Rehman, Ahmed Raza, Shahryar Taaj, Saima Saeed, Nabeel Javeed, Amir Ali Ahmed, Shakeel Qadir, Gulzar Shah, Waqas Ali, Zahid Akhtar, Safraz Hussain, Gulzar Shah and Khalid Sheerdil.

The board also approved promotions of grade 19 officers to grade 20 of secretariat group Ghulam Farooq, Tariq Mooj, Mirza Ali Mahmood, Adil Akbar, Naila Zaafar, Nadeem Malik, Shahid Sandhu, Kashif Gulzar, Muhammad Akram, Hassan Mahmood, Hadyaitullah, Tahir Ahsan and Raja Zahir.
