LAHORE - The Lahore Transport Company has taken action against 160 vehicles plying at city routes without fitness certificate. The vehicles included buses, coasters and rickshaws and the action was taken in Nishtar Colony, Nawab Town and Factory Area. The officials of enforcement department take daily actions against public transport vehicles not observing the relevant transport laws, says LTC spokesperson. In this month, around 3340 PSV’s challenged and 474 were impounded on various violations.

The prime objective of this action is to impart safe transport facilities to the commuters towards better urban transport discipline management in Lahore, stated LTC.
