Supreme Court of Pakistan has rejected National Accountability Bureau (NAB) appeal to reopen the Hudaibiya Paper Mills case. 

Three-member bench gave verdict against the reopening of the case. 

According to media reports bench head Justice Musheer Alim read the verdict. The detailed verdict will be issued later, the court stated. 

The prosecutor of NAB remained unable to convince the apex court to reopen the case. 

Earlier, the hearing of Hudaibiya Paper Mills resumed in Supreme Court as three-member bench headed by Justice Musheer Alam heard NAB appeal to reopen the case. 

he NAB has made management of Hudaibya Papers Mills Ltd, Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, Mian Muhammad Abbas Sharif, Mian Hussain Nawaz, Mian Hamza Shahbaz, Shamim Akhtar, Sabiha Abbas and Maryam Nawaz as respondents and federation through Secretary Ministry of Law and Justice and Judge of Accountability Court No IV, Rawalpindi, as pro forma respondents

As the hearing resumed the court remarked that NAB has not mentioned Ishaq Dar as an adverse party in the case. 

"The documents of issue on which your are running the case are not being given to the court," Justice Alam obseved. 

Furthermore, Justice Qazi Faiz Esa remarked that the case was started in Musharraf's era and NAB chairman was appointed in his regime. 

"This is all very interesting," Justice Esa said.
