The Lahore High Court on Sunday adjourned the hearing of PML-N Chief Nawaz Sharif's eligibility case until Feb 16. The Election Tribunal heard the case in its chamber where it was informed that Sharif's counsel did not receive the court summon, therefore, he could not appear before the tribunal today. The court has ordered that the notice be served again to Nawaz Sharif. On the Feb 12, the Lahore High Court issued notice to Nawaz Sharif to appear on Feb 15 on a petition filed by a journalist, Shahid Aurakzai, with the Election Tribunal of the Lahore High Court. The petitioner had challenged the eligibility of PML-N Chief Nawaz Sharif to contest by-election in NA-123.
