LAHORE- The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry Tuesday out rightly rejected the SRO 821(I) 2011 and threatened to agitate if a forced implementation of widely-opposed and controversial SRO was made.

In a statement issued here, the LCCI President Irfan Qaiser Seikh said that the LCCI is duty-bound to safeguard the interests of all its members and whenever and wherever they would oppose any FBR move, the LCCI would extend them every support. He said that the LCCI was unable to understand that why and at whose behest the FBR was implementing this widely opposed and controversial SRO 821(I) 2011.

Meanwhile, Pakistan can overcome its financial woes by strengthening business-to-business interactions that is a prerequisite to expand economic activities and create better entrepreneurs. This was stated by the President Entrepreneurs Organisation (EO) Global Mr Kevin Langley while talking to LCCI Senior VP Kashif Younis Meher.
