LHC moved to disqualify 13 politicians for not declaring assets

Lahore High Court (LHC) on Wednesday was moved to declare as many as 13 politicians disqualified for not making assets public.
The petitioners submitted a petition before the LHC pleading that these 13 political leaders did not uncover their assets; hence, they should be declared as disqualified.
These politicians include Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Chief Mian Nawaz Sharif, Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman and Parliamentary leader of the MQM in the National Assembly Dr Farooq Sattar.
