Lahore High Court (LHC) on Wednesday was moved to declare as many as 13 politicians disqualified for not making assets public.
The petitioners submitted a petition before the LHC pleading that these 13 political leaders did not uncover their assets; hence, they should be declared as disqualified.
These politicians include Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Chief Mian Nawaz Sharif, Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman and Parliamentary leader of the MQM in the National Assembly Dr Farooq Sattar.
