LAHORE – The 4th annual three-day Nazaria-i-Pakistan Conference will start at Aiwan-e-Karkunan Tehrik-e-Pakistan on Thursday. The national and international delegates are participating in the conference which is going to be held under the aegis of Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust.

TheNation Editor-in-Chief and NPT Chairman Majid Nizami will inaugurate the conference by hoisting the national flag along with Pakistan Movement workers at Aiwan on Thursday. Pakistan Movement Workers’ Trust Chairman Colonel (rtd) Jamshed Ahmed Tareen, NPT Vice-chairman Professor Dr Rafique Ahmed, NPT Finance Secretary Mian Farooq Altaf will present welcome addresses and narrate the objectives of the NPC.

The management has divided the participants into various groups which will debate on different topics and present their recommendations.

Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif will be chief guest at the first session on the first day of the NPC. AJK President Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob Khan, Awami Muslim League President Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed, Punjab Assembly Speaker Rana Muhammad Iqbal, Punjab Assembly Deputy Speaker Rana Mashood Ahmed are also participating in the conference as chief guests on the same day.

Ex-ISI chief Lieutenant General (rtd) Hameed Gul, PTI Vice-Chairman Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi, former finance minister Shaukat Ahmed Tareen, Federal Information Minister Dr Firdus Ashiq Awan, NPT Vice-chairman Begum Majid Wyne, Punjab Education Minister Mian Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman, Lahore High Court Bar Association Pir Syed Kalim Ahmed, School Education Secretary Dr Ijaz Muneer, Primary Education Secretary Aslam Kambooh, Begum Suraya Khurished, Begum Khalida Muneer-ud-Din, Begum Mehnaz Rafi will address on the second day of the NPC.

PML-N central leader Syed Ghaus Ali Shah and renowned journalist Syed Faseeh Iqbal will be chief guests on the last day of the conference. Justice (rtd) Mian Mehboob Ahmed, Waleed Iqbal Advocate, Lieutenant General (rtd) Abdul Quyyum, Begum Nasira Javid Iqbal, Allama Ahmed Ali Kasuri, Ahmed Awais Advocate and other prominent personalities will participate in group discussions.
