LAHORE –Yasir Hameed with a superb knock of 150 helped Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa (KP) to post 265 for the loss of4 wickets in 60 overs on the third day of theFaysal Bank Pentangular Cup (First-class) 2011-12 match against Balochistan at the Arbab Niaz Stadium Peshawar on Tuesday.

Fielding first decision backfired as Baluchistan bowlers were frustrated by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa openers as they provided good start to their team. Test discarded Yasir Hameed was the pick of the bowlers who made scintillating innings off 150 runs laced with 16 boundaries and 6 sixes while Raja Nadim made 59 with seven four and Raja Nadeem made 25. Ahmed Raza was the pick of Balochistan bowler who chipped in with 3/99. Rasshed Bhatti and Kamal Merchant supervised the match while M Anees is acting as match referee. Sindh and Federal Areas match was abandoned on the third day also due to rain, bad light and sloppy conditions of the Pindi Stadium ground on Tuesday.
